  2. Wowwy wow.
    1. nice blog page! :-O
    2. Wonderful, wonderful use of words, "Blood is like a fine wine"
An unbelievably awesome conparison, and it automatically creates a picture of who the person is.

    Gorgeously horrifying
    or horrifyingly gorgeous.
You pick which one you like.

  3. This is great, honestly. So well done. I love the picture that pops into my head reading these words. Figures, you would take the vampire route. lol

  4. This is a really beautiful piece. It flows so well and has a tinge of righteous sorrow to it. Great visuals.

I hate to say though - did you use oscillate instead o oscitate? I can't find oscitate in here... Sorry :(

  5. Very Interview With a Vampire-esque! I liked it.

  6. Thank you, Richard, Miranda, and MyTricksterGodsaid...

Sorry, it took me a while to get the link up--kept on misspelling it--

And thank you to My Trickster for stopping by. You ever want to write a review on my book, feel free! [; Thanks for your comments today.

So, anyone now should be able to link to that and "like' if they so desire.

  8. KT Hanna has a good point. My spellcheck gave me the word osctillate. I went with it. You all can either vote for this or not, I don't really care. I've spent WAY too much time on this as it is, and I'm not going to change it. The word oscitate took me 15 min. to find as a Spanish word meaning Yawn or gape. I'd rather leave my poem as is. Everyone here said they loved it. It doesn't matter to me one way or another, but I like seeing that a number of people have stoped by and said they enjoyed it. Plus one person became a follower and that's really what this whole thing was about, isn't it? I mean this was to help get other people to your blog. To me that's more important than winning a contest. {: so, basically I'm winning over fans and that's a wonderful thing.

  9. Vampires stories are not my thing, but I truly appreciate your poem. I think these words do work well into a poetic format and you have created a strong voice here. It's not about winning, I agree, and this second challenge is taking me far too long. I shall, however, be voting for this one ;)

  11. Yay! I love poems!

Your piece is so cerebral - the best kind, in my opinion!

    Great job!

  15. Pretty poem! I like how it flows. Can almost imajone this as a rap song.

I am pretty sure the word is not oscillate. Must have been the spell check; when I wrote mine, word tried to turn into oscillate, too. Word's dictionary is deficient.

  16. Nicely done. As someone else said, vampires aren't my thig but this was well done. Mine is #29

  17. Thank you, Bridgetstraub, and Sonia.
My comment above explains that, yes my spell check went *poof* and I didn't realize that it had. I simply went with the word. I am not changing this poem merely to fit the format, because I've spent too much time on it as it is.
Anyway, I thank you to everyone who has stopped by and made a comment. That's the whole idea behind this "challenge", and it has done what it was supposed to do. :D
